Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough located over the eastern Gulf will
move W reaching the W Gulf waters on Sat, then wash out as a
surface high develops over the E gulf, with a ridge building w
to the Texas Coastal Bend on Sun night. A thermal trough will
develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon, move W-NW
during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW Gulf by
late morning each day.
