Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front extends SW across northern Florida to near 29N87W where it becomes stationary continuing W and dissipating across the NW coastal waters to the Texas Coastal Bend. The cold front will drift S and gradually dissipate on Tue into Wed. An inverted thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula during the late afternoons into the early evening hours, and move NW during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW Gulf by late each morning.
