Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 19N W of 55W, the N Atlantic from 19N to
31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening cold front extends through the Windward
Passage to near Jamaica, then continues as a stationary front to
Belize. This boundary will weaken further and eventually
diminish later today. Moderate to fresh NE winds near the
Windward Passage will persist through Sat morning. Elsewhere,
moderate NE winds offshore of northwestern Colombia and in the
Gulf of Venezuela will peak at fresh to strong during the
evening and early morning hours through early next week, rough
seas are also expected during these peak winds. A similar
scenario is also anticipated in the Gulf of Honduras through
this weekend. Looking ahead, a cold front moving through the
Gulf of America this weekend is slated to enter the northwestern
Caribbean by early next week, leading to fresh to locally strong
N winds and locally rough seas in its wake.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N59W to beyond the
Windward Passage will continue to progress eastward through the
weekend. Fresh to strong SW to NW winds will linger ahead and
behind this front through early this evening. As this front
lifts northeastward tonight, winds will steadily diminish. 
Widespread rough to very rough seas generated by large northerly 
swell will shift eastward across the western and central Atlantic
through this Sat night, before gradually decaying Sun and Mon. 
High pressure will build in the wake of the front offshore of 
Florida later today, as a complex low pressure system strengthens
north of the area. The pressure gradient between these features 
will support moderate to fresh SW winds north of 29N and west of 
70W by late tonight, and west of 60W on Sat. Looking ahead, a 
cold front is slated to push off the coast of the southeastern 
United States early next week, leading to fresh to strong winds 
and rough seas in the wake of the front.
