Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 19N W of 55W, the N Atlantic from 19N to
31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Sara is near the coast of Honduras at
16.2N 86.3W at 10 PM EST, and is stationary. Maximum sustained
winds are 45 kt with gusts to 55 kt, and the minimum central
pressure is 997 mb. Sara will move to 16.3N 86.5W Sat morning,
16.6N 87.3W Sat evening, inland over Belize at 17.0N 88.4W Sun
morning, weaken to a tropical depression over the Yucatan
Peninsula near 17.7N 90.0W Sun evening, become a remnant low and
move to the eastern Bay of Campeche at 19.2N 91.8W Mon morning,
and dissipate Mon evening. Away from the direct impacts from
Sara, fresh to locally strong easterly winds will occur over the
northwestern Caribbean through Mon. Large N swell will continue
to support to locally rough seas through the Atlantic passages
this weekend. A strong cold front slated to move through the
western Atlantic this weekend will reinforce rough seas through
the Atlantic passages for the second half of this weekend into
next week. Fresh to locally strong E to NE winds look to develop
on Sun through the Atlantic passages and in the lee of Cuba,
continuing into early next week. A strong cold front may also
slip SE of the Yucatan Channel mid-week.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...A dissipating cold front from 21N55W to 18.5N60W
continuing as stationary to across the N coast of the Greater
Antilles will lift N Sat. A vigorous cold front extending from a
hurricane force low N of the area near 33N70W through 31N69W to 
the Upper Florida Keys has gale force winds from 29N to 31N 
between 69W and 74W. The front will reach from 31N61W to
20N72.5W Sat evening, then from 25N55W to the Anegada Passage 
Sun evening while weakening significantly. Very rough seas is 
following this second front and will through the weekend, with 
very high seas possible N of 27N between 65W and 75W on Sat and 
Sat night. A reinforcing front or trough may clip the NE waters 
Tue and Tue night with increasing winds and building seas. Yet 
another cold front may move off the SE United States mid-week 
with another round of increasing winds and building seas.
