31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong winds and rough seas persist near
the Yucatan Channel, between high pressure north of the area and
Tropical Depression Nadine, weakening over southern Mexico and
drifting westward. These winds and seas will diminish through
Mon night as Nadine dissipates and the high pressure weakens and
shifts eastward. Mostly gentle to moderate breezes and slight to
moderate seas will persist across the basin thereafter through
Thu night.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Oscar is near 21.1N 73.1W at 5 AM EDT,
over Great Inagua Island in the southern Bahamas, and is moving 
west at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 70 kt with gusts to 85
kt, and the minimum central pressure is 988 mb. Oscar will move 
toward the coast of eastern Cuba near 20.6N 74.3W this afternoon,
move inland and weaken to a tropical storm over eastern Cuba 
near 20.4N 75.4W Mon morning, then remain inland near 20.8N 76.1W
Mon afternoon. Oscar will then move northward toward the 
southern Bahamas again, reaching 21.7N 76.0W Tue morning, and 
22.7N 75.2W Tue afternoon. Oscar will move to the north of the 
southern Bahamas and reach 23.8N 74.0W Wed morning, then continue
to move to the NE before dissipating by early Thu. Elsewhere, a 
cold front from 31N54W to 25N65W will drift eastward today, then 
weaken to a trough through the early part of the week. Fresh to 
strong winds and rough seas will prevail west of the front 
through Tue.
