31N W of 55W including the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N W of 55W

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Helene is near 23.1N 86.6W at 11 PM EDT,
and is moving north at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 75 kt
with gusts to 90 kt, and the minimum central pressure is 972 mb.
Helene will move to 25.4N 86.1W Thu morning, 29.5N 84.5W Thu
evening, then move inland and weaken to a tropical storm near
34.3N 84.7W Fri morning. Tropical Storm Helene will become an
extratropical cyclone near 36.7N 87.1W Fri evening and be over
the southeastern U.S. Sat morning. Tropical storm conditions and
very rough seas are still expected over the NW Caribbean
tonight. Helene will continue to move away from the NW Caribbean
Thu.
