Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Philippe is near 18.2N 54.5W at 11 PM
EDT, and is moving northwest at 7 kt. Maximum sustained winds
are 45 kt with gusts to 55 kt, and the minimum central pressure
is 1002 mb. Philippe will move to near 19N57W Thu evening,
19N59W Fri evening, 18.5N 60W Sat evening, and weaken to a
remnant low near 18.5N 62W Sun evening. Rough seas across the
forecast zones east of the Leeward Islands generated by Tropical
Storm Philippe will start to subside toward the end of the week
south of 17N, but will continue 8 to 12 ft north of 18N. High
pressure north of the area will support moderate to fresh trade
winds across most of the eastern and central Caribbean through
tonight. Winds across the Caribbean Sea will then diminish late
this week into this weekend, except near the northern Leeward
Islands and Virgin Islands, where a weakening Philippe is
forecast to track near.
