Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Fiona located about 40 nm south-southeast
of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic at 11 PM with a pressure of
982 mb is moving WNW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 75 kt
gusts 90 kt. Fiona will track to near the eastern and northern
coasts of the Dominican Republic overnight tonight and on
Monday, and continue northwestward to near or east of the Turks
and Caicos Islands on Tue, with maximum sustained winds 95 kt
gusts 110 kt. Fiona will gradually strengthen as it continues to
pull farther away from the Caribbean through mid- week. Residual
swell over the eastern Caribbean from Fiona will slowly subside
early this week.

90 kt. Fiona will gradually strengthen to a major hurricane as
it moves to near 19.0N 69.0W Mon morning, then track north-
northwest to turn to near 20.4N 70.0W Mon evening with maximum 
sustained winds 90 kt gusts 110 kt, to near 21.9N 70.8W Tue 
morning, to near 23.3N 71.1W Tue evening with maximum sustained 
winds 100 kt gusts 120 kt, and begin to track north-northeast to
