Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Jerry near 15.0N 50.5W 1000 mb at
5 PM EDT moving WNW at 13 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt
gusts 60 kt. Jerry will move to 15.7N 52.5W Thu morning,
strengthen to a hurricane near 16.7N 55.3W Thu afternoon, 17.8N
58.3W Fri morning, 19.1N 61.4W Fri afternoon, and weaken to a
tropical storm near 21.5N 66.5W Sat afternoon. Jerry will change
little in intensity as it moves to near 25.2N 70.0W Sun
afternoon, and continue to near 28.5N 69.5W Mon. Moderate trade
winds will persist elsewhere over the Caribbean.
