Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N Atlantic from
07N to 19N between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh trade winds will dominate much of
the basin. Long period northerly swell will starting pushing
through the Atlantic Ocean passages by Tuesday. A tropical wave
entering the central Caribbean Sea will move through the western
Caribbean Sea by Wed. Scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds
accompany a second tropical wave that is in the eastern
Caribbean. The second tropical wave will move across the central
Caribbean Sea by Wed, and into the western Caribbean Sea late
Thu to Fri. A low pressure center developing east of the area,
will move toward the Atlantic Ocean offshore waters of the
Leeward Islands by late Thu and Fri, possibly as a tropical
cyclone.

Synopsis for the the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Humberto near 30.3N 75.1W 966 mb at 11 PM 
EDT moving ENE at 7 kt. Maximum sustained winds 80 kt gusts 100 
kt. Humberto will move to 30.7N 74.0W Tue morning, 31.1N 72.2W
Tue evening, 31.6N 70.0W Wed morning, 32.8N 66.6W Wed evening,
and 37.1N 60.7W Thu evening. Humberto will change little in
intensity as it moves near 40.5N 58.0W late Fri, and weaken as
an extratropical cyclone over 43.0N 50.0W Sat. The center of 
Humberto is expected to approach Bermuda Wednesday night.
Additional strengthening is expected during the next 48 hours,
and Humberto is forecast to become a major hurricane by Tuesday
night or Wednesday morning. Northerly swell will follow across
the open waters in the wake of Humberto.
