Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N ATLC from 07N to 19N
between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Jose N of area will continue to generate
northerly swells which will propagate through Atlantic passages
through the end of the week. A tropical wave in the central
Caribbean near 78W will move through the western Caribbean
through the weekend. A second tropical wave near 60W will move
through the E and central Caribbean this weekend and the W
Caribbean early next week. A third tropical wave, possibly a
tropical cyclone, will reach the tropical N Atlantic Sunday.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE SW N ATLC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Jose near 27.1N 70.3W 983 mb at 05 PM EDT 
moving NW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts 80 kt. 
Jose is forecast to continue as a Category 1 hurricane and move 
to near 28.8N 72.2W by Saturday afternoon, continue as a
Category 1 hurricane and move to near 31.4N 72.2W by Sunday 
afternoon, continue as a Category 1 hurricane and move to near 
33.9N 72.2W by Monday afternoon. By late Monday winds should 
diminish below gale force and seas drop below 12 ft in our area 
as Jose continues northward. A trough will extend from the NE in 
the wake of Jose to near the Bahamas through Monday, then become 
diffuse just E of Florida. Central Atlantic high pres will build 
SW toward the eastern portion of the basin in the wake of Jose 
into early next week.
