Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N ATLC from 07N to 19N
between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...A weak pressure pattern will setup across the
Caribbean throughout the week as Hurricane Jose moves in a
clockwise loop across the open Atlc between the Greater
Antilles, Bermuda, and the Bahamas through Fri. N swell will
from Jose will enter the Caribbean passages Wednesday through
Friday. A tropical wave along 65W will move across the rest of
the eastern Caribbean through late Wednesday, then the central
Caribbean through Thursday night, and the western Caribbean late
Thursday night through Saturday night. The wave will be
accompanied by scattered showers and thunderstorms. Northerly
swell from Hurricane Jose is expected to begin to impact the
waters E and SE of the Bahamas on Wednesday.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE SW N ATLC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Jose centered near 27.5N 68.3W 987 mb at 
11 AM EDT moving E at 4 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts 
to 80 kt. Jose is expected to weaken slightly as it moves to
near 27.2N 67.1W this evening, to near 26.4N 66.0W early on 
Wednesday, with maximum sustained winds 60 kt gusts to 75 kt, to 
near 25.7N 65.5W early Wednesday evening, before turning WSW and 
begins to intensify near 25.3N 66.0W early Thursday with maximum 
sustained winds 65 kt gusts to 80 kt, then turn NW reaching near 
26.0N 69.0W early Friday with maximum sustained winds 70 kt gusts
85 kt and continue NW with slight strengthening expected through
Saturday. High pressure from the central Atlantic will extend 
southwestward to the far eastern waters in the wake of Jose 
Friday through Saturday. Swell from Jose will dominate the 
forecast waters through Saturday. The swell will begin to 
propagate southward through the SE waters on Wednesday.
