Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Tropical N Atlantic
from 07N to 22N between 55W and 64W, the SW N Atlantic S of
31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Caribbean Sea and Tropical N ATLC from 07N to 19N
between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh winds persist off the southern coast of W Cuba
on the far southern periphery of Hurricane Irma, now moving
through SW Florida. These winds will diminish overnight as Irma
moves farther N. Similarly fresh to strong SE winds off the
Leeward Islands are diminishing as Hurricane Jose continues to
move N of the region. A weak pressure pattern will set across
the Caribbean through the week.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE SW N ATLC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Irma near 28.9N 82.6W, 965 mb moving NNW
at 16 kt at 5 AM EDT, and continuing inland over the Florida 
peninsula. Maximum sustained winds 75 kt gusts 90 kt. Irma will 
weaken to a tropical storm as it reaches 30.8N 83.7W this 
afternoon, then continues to 33.0N 85.7W tonight. Irma will 
weaken to a depression as it move farther N Tue, eventually 
dissipating well N of the region by late Wed. A weak pressure 
pattern will set up across the Gulf in the wake of Irma through 
the remainder of the week. Farther E, Hurricane Jose is near 
24.4N 68.6N, 968 mb moving NNW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 
90 kt gusts to 110 kt. Jose will move to 25.8N 69.3W this 
afternoon, 26.8N 69.0W tonight, 27.0N 67.6W Tue afternoon, 26.3N 
66.5W Tue night, 24.5N 65.5W Wed night, before moving slowly NW 
thereafter.
