between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Major Hurricane Irma in the Straits of Florida near
24.1N 81.5W, 928 mb at 5 AM EDT moving NW at 7 kt. Maximum
sustained winds 115 kt gusts 140 kt. Irma will continue
northward along the W coast of Florida through Mon. Winds to
near tropical storm strength will persist on the south central
coast of Cuba through into this morning. Farther east, Hurricane
Jose near 20.8N 64.5W, 944 mb moving NW at 14 kt. Maximum
sustained winds 115 kt gusts to 140 kt. Jose will move to 22.2N
66.1W this afternoon, 24.2N 67.9W tonight, then continue N of
the area. A weak pressure pattern will continue across the
Caribbean through mid week.
