31N W of 65W including Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea.

between 55W and 64W

.SYNOPSIS...Major Hurricane Irma Major Hurricane Irma near 18.2N
64.0W, in the Anegada Passage, 918 mb at 1500Z moving WNW or
285 deg at 14 kt. Maximum sustained winds 160 kt gusts 195 kt.
Irma is forecast to continue WNW and reach near 19.0N 66.2W this
evening, near 20.2N 69.0W Thu morning then continue moving WNW
to the N of Hispaniola into the Southern Bahamas and S Florida
through Sun. Irma will bring strong winds and high seas to the
Mona Passage tonight and the entrances to the Windward Passage
Thu night. Meanwhile Tropical Storm Jose is near 13.1N 44.5W
998 mb at 1500Z moving WNW at 15 kt. Maximum sustained winds
near 60 kt with gusts to 75 kt. Jose is forecast to continue WNW
and intensify to a hurricane near 14.3N 49.7W this evening,
reaching 15.4N 55.3W by Fri morning and 17.3N 58.9W E of the
Leeward Islands Sat morning before continuing NW to the NE of
the Leewards through Sun night.
