.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong easterly winds and rough seas in the
wake of a recent front will gradually diminish during the
overnight hours. High pressure will dominate the area through
Wed. A low pressure is forecast to develop over the NW Gulf near
the Texas coast late on Thu, then track northeast toward the
southeastern U.S. by Fri night pushing a cold front across the
basin. This next frontal system will bring increasing winds and
seas across the Gulf waters, as well as widespread showers and
thunderstorms.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, except W of 94W E to SE 10
to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft, except in NE to E swell between 90W 
and 94W. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.THU...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered 
showers and thunderstorms.
