.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough with moderate winds over the 
central Gulf will drift westward through Sun as high pressure 
continues to build over the Gulf waters. Winds and seas could be 
higher near thunderstorms associated with the trough. Gentle to 
moderate winds will prevail through the weekend and into early 
next week with slight seas. Scattered thunderstorms are possible 
for the northern Gulf through Sun. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

and isolated tstms.
