.SYNOPSIS...Dense fog are occurring near the Gulf coast and 
should persist through early Friday morning. A modest surface 
ridge stretching from central Florida to near the Texas- Mexico 
border will sustain gentle to moderate southeasterly winds across
the northern Gulf. A diurnal trough developing over the Yucatan 
Peninsula during the day will induce fresh to strong E to SE 
winds over the SW Gulf nightly through Sun night. Looking ahead, 
a weak cold front may emerge off of the Texas and Louisiana coast
on Mon. Fresh SW winds are expected ahead of the front with only
moderate or weaker winds behind the front on Mon and Tue.
