.SYNOPSIS...A weakening stationary front stretches southwestward
from the Florida Panhandle to near Tampico, Mexico. Meanwhile, a
strong cold front reaches south-southwestward from the Texas-
Louisiana border to just north of Tampico. This cold front will
merge with the stationary front by early this afternoon while
continue moving southeastward. Strong to near-gale winds will 
shift eastward with the front to the north-central Gulf by Sat 
evening, then northeastern Gulf by Sun morning. Winds and seas 
should gradually diminish from west to east beginning Sun 
evening. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming N 20 to 25 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SAT...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
