.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front is expected to move off the
Texas coast Thu evening. The front will bring near-gale to gale
force NW winds and rough to very rough seas across most of the
basin through Fri. Gale-force winds will come to an end by Fri 
night with conditions slowly improving through the upcoming 
weekend. Currently, a 1016 mb low is located near 29N80W with a 
stationary front extending across South Florida into the Gulf of 
Mexico to 24N89W. The front will dissipate by Thu as the low 
lifts northward away from the area. Fresh winds west of the front
will gradually diminish tonight.
