.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from near Steinhatchee,
Florida to a 1012 mb low pressure off the Texan coast near 28N97W
and then southward to near 20N97W. The portion of the front over
the northern Gulf will lift northward today. Another cold front 
will move into the western Gulf later this morning, merging with 
the residual boundary south of the low. This front will weaken as 
it moves through the northeast Gulf Sun. Fresh to strong winds are
expected behind the front, diminishing late today in the western
Gulf and on Sun in the northern Gulf waters. High pressure will 
build in the wake of the front and prevail through Wed. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to W 15 to 20 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.TONIGHT...W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.SUN...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.MON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E in the afternoon.
