.SYNOPSIS...Newly-formed Tropical Depression Nine, located early
this morning in the SE Caribbean Sea, is forecast to strengthen
into a hurricane as it moves NW toward the NW Caribbean into the
weekend. By early next week, impacts from this system may begin 
to affect portions of the E Gulf of Mexico, in the form of 
increasing wind and seas. Otherwise, a relatively weak pressure 
gradient across the Gulf waters will support mainly gentle to 
locally moderate winds and slight seas through the weekend. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
