.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough extends from coastal Louisiana
to Southwest Florida and will drift westward over the next few
days. Weak low pressure is expected to form from the remnants of
the trough across the north central Gulf Mon night and drift
west and inland through Wed. Otherwise, a weak surface ridge
will dominate the Gulf waters through the weekend and into early
next week, supporting mainly gentle to moderate winds and slight
to moderate seas.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.MON...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N 10 to 15 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated tstms. 
.TUE...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
