.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough extends from coastal Alabama
to South Florida. It is forecast to drift westward over the next 
few days with possible slow development. Otherwise, a weak 
surface ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the weekend 
and into early next week, supporting mainly gentle to moderate 
winds and slight to moderate seas.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...W of 94W, variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming E 10 kt
early in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Between 90W and 94W,
variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming N 10 kt early in the 
evening. Seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
.MON NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
