.SYNOPSIS...High pressure has settled in over the area. Gentle
to moderate winds are noted across most of the eastern Gulf with
light winds near the high pressure. Fresh to strong southerly
winds are noted in the western Gulf of Mexico near the Texas and
Mexico coasts. Fresh winds will expand across the eastern Gulf
on Mon through Wed as the high pressure shifts eastward out of
the basin. The fresh to strong winds across the western and
central Gulf will continue through Wed. A weak cold front will
move off the Texas coast on Wed night, then stall over the
northern Gulf on Thu. Fresh northeast to east winds are expected
behind the front.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft between 90W
and 94W, and 7 to 9 ft W of 94W.
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.MON...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt, except SE to S 20 to 25 kt W of
94W. Seas 6 to 8 ft in SE to S swell between 90W and 94W, and 7
to 9 ft W of 94W.
.MON NIGHT...SE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TUE...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt between 90W and 94W and 20 to 25
kt W of 94W. Seas 6 to 9 ft.
