.SYNOPSIS...High pressure has settled in over the area. Fresh to
strong northwest winds east of 87W are following behind a
weakening cold front that is moving across the eastern and
central Gulf waters. These winds will shift east of the Gulf
tonight as the front quickly exits the southeastern Gulf. Fresh
to strong east to southeast return flow is expected in the
western Gulf tonight and continue through Wed afternoon. A weak
cold front may move into the northern Gulf Thu and stall. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...Between 90W and 94W, SE to S winds 10 kt, increasing
to 15 to 20 kt late. Seas 2 to 3 ft, building to 4 to 6 ft late.
W of 94W, SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming S 20 to 25 kt
late. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 6 to 8 ft late.
