.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends off a 1009 mb low south of the
Mississippi coast near 30N89W to 24N94W, where it becomes
stationary to south of Tampico, Mexico near 21N97W. The front
will stretch across the central Gulf later today, stalling from
the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche this evening before
gradually dissipating by Thu. A strong cold front is expected to
enter the NW Gulf Fri evening. Strong to near gale- force winds 
and rough seas will follow this front across the area.
