.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Tampa Bay, Florida to
Cancun, Mexico. Gale force W to NW winds are occurring over the 
NE Gulf of Mexico behind the front. Strong to near gale force NW 
winds are occurring elsewhere behind the front. The front will 
exit the basin this afternoon. Gale force winds will continue 
over the NE Gulf into this evening. Trailing fresh to strong 
winds and rough seas in the eastern Gulf will gradually diminish 
on Mon. Conditions are forecast to improve on Mon as high 
pressure builds over the region. A new cold front is forecast to 
emerge from the coast of Texas Wed night and extend from the 
Florida Big Bend to Tampico, Mexico Thu night. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 10 to 15 ft in NW swell, 
becoming 7 to 10 ft in swell in the afternoon.
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft,subsiding
to 3 to 5 ft after midnight. 
.MON...NW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to N 5 to 10 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE 10 to
15 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to
4 ft in the afternoon. 
.TUE NIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
