.SYNOPSIS...Fresh southerly winds are W of 91W ahead of a strong
cold front forecast to enter the basin on Sat morning. Strong to
gale force NW to N winds and very rough seas will follow the
front across much of the Gulf, Sat through Sun. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms will accompany the front, which is
forecast to move east of the basin Sun afternoon. Conditions
will improve on Mon as high pressure builds over the region. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 to 4 ft after midnight. 
.SAT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to W to NW 25 to 35 kt in 
the afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to 7 to 10 ft in W to NW 
swell in the afternoon. Scattered showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW winds 30 to 35 kt. Seas 9 to 14 ft in NW swell. 
.SUN...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 8 to 13 ft in NW swell. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming W to NW 5 to 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 5 to 7 ft in NW swell, subsiding to 3 to
