.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure system NE of the Bahamas will support
fresh NW winds over the eastern Gulf tonight into Fri morning.
Southerly return flow will set up over the western Gulf by late
Fri ahead of a strong cold front forecast to enter the Gulf
region by Sat morning. Strong to gale force winds and building
seas are expected in the wake of the front Sat through Sun.
Fresh to strong southerly winds will prevail ahead of the front
forecast to move SE of the area by Sun afternoon.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S to SW in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 to 4 ft after midnight. 
.SAT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt, shifting to NW 20 to 30 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to 6 to 9 ft in the
afternoon. Scattered showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 11 to 16 ft in NW swell.
