.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong NW to N winds will continue over the
SW Gulf through this evening while diminishing. A ridge will
dominate the Gulf waters through Fri. Southerly return flow will
set up over the western Gulf by late Fri ahead of the next cold
front forecast to enter the Gulf region on Sat. Fresh to strong
winds and building seas are expected in the wake of the front.
Gale conditions are possible off of Tampico, Mexico, by Sat
evening, and near the Veracruz area by Sat night into Sun.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.THU...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SAT...SW winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming W 25 to 30 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to 7 ft in the
afternoon. 
.SAT NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft. 
.SUN...NW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft.
