.SYNOPSIS...A 1003 low is centered over the NW Gulf near 28N97W.
A cold front extends from the low to 24N98W. These features will 
move east across the basin, with large seas expected in the 
western and central Gulf through Fri. Gusts to gale-force are 
possible near the Texas coast through the next 24 hours. The 
front will briefly stall from the Florida panhandle to southern 
Mexico by Fri night, then reinforcing cold air will push it into 
the eastern Gulf this weekend.
