.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure extends east-west across
the central Gulf of Mexico this afternoon. Moderate to strong NW
winds over the NE Gulf will quickly diminish and conditions
across the Gulf will be quiescent from Sat through Mon. SE to S
winds ahead of a new cold front will become moderate to strong
over the Gulf on Tue and Wed. This cold front should emerge off
of the Texas coast on Wed. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to NE to E 5 to
10 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT AND SUN...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.SUN THROUGH TUE...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.  

North Central and Northeast Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.
