.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Eta over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea near 19.6N 81.8W 998 mb at 10 AM EST is moving NE at 15 kt.
Maximum sustained winds 35 kt gusts 45 kt. Eta will move to near
20.8N 80.6W this evening with maximum sustained winds 40 kt
gusts 50 kt, move inland central Cuba near 22.5N 79.5W Sun
morning with maximum sustained winds 45 kt gusts 55 kt, then
begin to strengthen as it moves over the Straits of Florida near
23.8N 79.3W Sun evening with maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts
60 kt. Eta will move to near 25.0N 80.1W early Mon with maximum
winds 55 kt gusts 65 kt and with little change in intensity as
it moves to near 25.8N 81.9W Mon evening, then begin to weaken
over the southeastern Gulf near 26.2W 83.2W early Tue with
maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts 60 kt, to near 26.5N 84.0W
early Wed with maximum sustained winds 45 kt gusts 55 kt and to
near 29.5N 84.0W early Thu with maximum sustained winds 40 kt
gusts 50 kt. Expect for deteriorating marine conditions, with
increasing winds and seas as Tropical Storm Eta moves into the
southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
