.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Delta near 26.9N 93.7W 953 mb at 5 AM EDT
moving N at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 105 kt gusts 130 kt.
Delta will begin to weaken as it moves to near 28.6N 93.3W this
afternoon with maximum sustained winds 95 kt gusts 115 kt, then
move inland and weaken to a tropical storm near 31.1N 92.3W late
tonight with maximum sustained winds 60 kt gusts 75 kt and to a
tropical depression well inland near 32.9N 91.0W Sat afternoon
and inland to near 34.2N 89.1W late Sat night. Delta will become
a remnant low near 35.6N 87.0W Sun afternoon and dissipate late
Sun night. In its wake, weak high pressure will build across the
area into early next week.

shifting to W 75 to 85 kt in the afternoon. Seas 19 to 29 ft W of 
94W and 21 to 32 ft E of 94W. Numerous squalls and thunderstorms
Vsby 1 NM or less. 
.TONIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED BETWEEN 90W AND 94W. W 
to NW winds 60 to 70 kt, becoming W 25 to 30 kt late. Between 90W 
and 94W, seas 14 to 21 ft, subsiding to 9 to 14 ft late. W of
94W, seas  11 to 17 ft in mixed NE and NW swell, subsiding to 7 
to 11 ft late. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
.SAT...W of 94W, W winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to 5 to 10 kt 
in the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 ft, subsiding to 3 to 4 ft in the
