.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Gamma is near 22.3N 87.6W 1003 mb at
11 AM EDT, moving SSW at 2 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 40 kt
with gusts to 50 kt. Gamma will drift SW and reach near
21.6N89.2W Tue morning, then weaken and move inland Tue evening
near 20.9N89.9W, then continue SW across the western Yucatan
Peninsula. Meanwhile, in the Caribbean, Tropical Storm Delta is
near 16.4N 78.6W 1002 mb at 11 AM EDT moving W at 6 kt. Maximum
sustained winds 40 kt gusts 50 kt. Delta will move WNW and
gradually strengthen to a hurricane by Tue evening near
20.8N84.3W, then move through the Yucatan Channel, reaching near
22.8N86.8W Wed morning, reach near 26.0N90.7W Thu morning, then
continue northward across the north central Gulf as a hurricane,
approaching the central Gulf coast Thu night through Fri.
