.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong winds and seas to 9 ft will persist
through the early part of the week ahead of the approach of a
possible hurricane moving through the central Gulf later in the
week. That system is Tropical Depression Twenty-six, currently 
in the Caribbean near 17.0N 77.3W 1006 mb at 11 PM EDT moving 
WNW at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 30 kt gusts 40 kt. Twenty-
Six will strengthen to a tropical storm near 17.4N 78.3W Mon 
morning, move to 18.3N 79.8W Mon evening, 20.0N 81.9W Tue 
morning, strengthen to a hurricane near 22.2N 84.4W Tue evening 
as it moves across western Cuba and into the southeast Gulf. The 
hurricane will move to 24.1N 87.0W Wed morning, and 25.4N 88.8W 
Wed evening. Twenty- Six will change little in intensity as it 
moves into the north central Gulf by late Thu.
