.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Sally near 27.8N 85.9W 996 mb at 5 PM
EDT moving WNW at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts
60 kt. Sally will move to 28.3N 87.3W Mon morning, strengthen to
a hurricane near 28.7N 88.7W Mon afternoon, and be near 29.2N
89.6W Tue morning. Sally move inland and weaken to a tropical
storm near 29.8N 90.1W Tue afternoon, then reach 30.7N 90.1W Wed
morning. Sally will weaken to a tropical depression near 31.8N
89.6W Wed afternoon, then be over Alabama Thu afternoon.
Otherwise, a surface trough over the western Gulf of Mexico will
move south and southwest through the middle of next week with
low chance of tropical cyclone formation.
