.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Sally near 27.5N 84.9W 996 mb at
11 AM EDT moving WNW at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt
gusts 60 kt. Sally will move to 28.0N 86.6W this evening,
strengthen to a hurricane near 28.5N 88.2W Mon morning, then
reach near 28.9N 89.4W Mon evening. Hurricane Sally will move
inland to 29.7N 90.2W Tue morning and weaken to a tropical storm
near 30.3N 90.5W Tue evening. Sally will be near 31.5N 90.3W Wed
morning, then weaken to a tropical depression over Mississippi
early Thu. Otherwise, a surface trough over the western Gulf of
Mexico will move southwest through the middle of next week with
low chance of tropical cyclone formation.
