.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from the western Atlantic into the
north central Gulf will persist through early next week. A weak
trough will move from the Yucatan peninsula across the SW Gulf
followed by moderate to locally fresh E to SE winds. Fresh to
locally strong S to SW winds are expected over the north-central
and northeast parts of the Gulf through tonight ahead of a
frontal trough extending across the SE CONUS.
