.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will reach the northern Gulf tonight,
then stall and weaken across the southern Gulf Fri night. Fresh
to locally strong NE winds are expected behind the front.
Southerly winds will increase across the basin this weekend as a
low pressure system tracks across the southern U.S, with strong
winds possible across much of the basin Sat night through Sun
night. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N after midnight.
Seas 2 ft or less. Chance of tstms. 
.FRI...NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to
5 ft in the afternoon. Slight chance of tstms.
