.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over the Carolinas will
extend SW across the basin through the early part of the week. A
cold front may reach the western Gulf early Wed, possibly
surging SE through much of the basin through Thu, then stalling
and weakening over the SE portion by the end of the week.
