.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from northwestern Cuba to the
Yucatan Channel and across the northern Yucatan Peninsula and to
the eastern Bay of Campeche will into the northwestern Caribbean
Sea during tonight. Gale force northwest to north winds near
Veracruz, Mexico will diminish to below gale force by late
tonight. High pressure in the wake of the front will shift
eastward by the middle of the week allowing for a trough
followed by a cold front to move across the NW Gulf Thu. The
trough will weaken Thu night as the cold front reaches from
south- central Louisiana to the western Gulf, from the western
Florida panhandle to the central Gulf and central Bay of
Campeche by early Fri afternoon and to just southeast of the
area by late on Sat. Mainly moderate to fresh winds are expected
behind this front.
