.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong southerly return flow over the
western Gulf will diminish early tonight as a strong cold front
moves off the Texas coast. It will reach from the Florida
Panhandle to the Bay of Campeche Tue afternoon, then move across
the SE Gulf by Wed afternoon. Northerly gale force winds and
building seas will follow in behind the front mainly W of 94W
tonight in the NW Gulf, spreading southward and some possibly
eastward as strong gale force winds through Wed. Winds and seas
will diminish over the central and western Gulf Thu through Fri.
Strong northeast to east winds will continue over the Straits of
Florida after the frontal passage Thu through Sat morning.
Another cold front will move across the western Gulf on Sat and
Sat night. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.OVERNIGHT...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt, except N 25 to 30 
kt with frequent gusts to 35 kt behind front. Seas 6 to 9 ft, 
except building to 9 to 13 ft behind front late. Scattered 
showers and thunderstorms along front.
.TUE...Between 90W and 94W, N winds 20 to 30 kt. Elsewhere, S to
SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. 
Seas 7 to 11 ft in SE to S swell. W of 94W, N winds 20 to 30 
kt. Seas 8 to 13 ft.
