.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move into the northern Gulf Thu
night, followed by fresh to strong winds and building seas. The
front will extend from Tampa to Veracruz, Mexico by Fri
afternoon. Strong to near gale force northerly winds are
expected west of the front off the Mexican coasts of Tamaulipas
and Veracruz Fri through Sat night. Surface ridging will then
dominate the basin through Mon evening.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms. 
.THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NE 15 to 20 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms. 
.FRI...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
