.SYNOPSIS...Showers and thunderstorms associated with low 
pressure over the southwest Gulf of Mexico continue to organize, 
although the low doesn't have a well defined center. Further 
development is expected and the low has a high chance forming 
into a tropical depression later tonight or Friday. The low is 
expected to become post-tropical by Saturday or merge with a cold
front that is currently approaching the NW Gulf of Mexico. By 
Fri night, this front will reach from Louisiana into the Bay of 
Campeche. To the west of the front, northerly gale force winds 
are expected Fri into early Saturday over the western Gulf of 
Mexico.
