.SYNOPSIS...Weak high press extending over the NE Gulf from the
Carolinas will shift E as a cold front approaches from the NW.
The front will move into the NW Gulf late tonight, reaching from
near Mobile, AL to near Tampico, Mexico early Tue, then from
near Cape Coral, FL to offshore of NE Mexico to the western Bay
of Campeche early Wed where it will stall and weaken through
early Thu. Strong NE winds are expected behind the front Tue
through Wed afternoon. Winds will gradually veer SE across the
basin Thu in advance of next cold front, which is expected to
reach the Texas coast Fri morning. Gale force N winds are
possible behind this front Fri and Fri night in the western
Gulf.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 5 ft.
Numerous showers and scattered tstms. 
Winds and seas may be higher in and near tstms.
.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW to N 15 to 20 kt
