.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front for October currently extends 
across the Gulf of Mexico from Pensacola Florida to SE of 
Veracruz Mexico near 18.5N95.5W. The front is stalling and is 
expected to dissipate by Mon. Gales W of the front will wind down
E of Tampico this evening and end near Veracruz by tomorrow 
morning. Elsewhere, high pressure NE of the Gulf will promote 
quiescent conditions through Tue. On Wed, a weaker cold front 
will push E across the northern Gulf of Mexico. No tropical 
cyclone activity is expected for the next several days over the 
Gulf.
