.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Fernand near 24.2N 97.3W 1002 mb at
1500 UTC moving W-NW at 7 kt. Maximum sustained winds 40 kt
gusts 50 kt. Highest winds and the majority of significant
weather will remain W and SW of center. Fernand will continue
westward and move inland to near 24.7N 98.9W by this evening. 
Weak high pressure will then prevail across the basin over the 
weekend to produce light to moderate winds and mild seas.
