.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge is located over the northern Gulf this
morning. A trough has moved into the eastern Gulf and across the
Florida peninsula. This trough should slowly move northward into
Sat, producing increased showers and thunderstorms offshore,
before dissipating on Sun. Afterwards, high pressure will build
westward from the Atlantic across Florida into the eastern Gulf
early next week. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 5 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT AND SAT NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or
less. 
.SUN THROUGH TUE...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.  

North Central and Northeast Gulf of Mexico

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Seas
